Counselling & Nervous System–Informed Support
Counselling with me is a grounded, compassionate space where we work not only with your thoughts and emotions, but with your nervous system—the place where stress, overwhelm, and old patterns often live.
Rather than pushing through or fixing yourself, our work gently helps your system feel safer, steadier, and more supported. From this place, clarity emerges naturally, emotions soften, and meaningful change becomes possible.
My role is to help you move from feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck into a felt sense of calm, clarity, and inner stability—so you can respond to life with more trust in yourself and your choices.
How Counselling Can Help
When life feels heavy or uncertain, our nervous system often shifts into survival mode. This can show up as anxiety, self-criticism, emotional numbness, exhaustion, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Counselling helps you:
Regulate your nervous system and reduce overwhelm
Develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself
Process difficult emotions without becoming flooded
Gain clarity around what you truly need and where you want to go
Build inner resources so challenges feel more manageable
Healing doesn’t happen through force—it happens through safety, presence, and support. Learning how to listen to your body and respond with compassion is a powerful part of this process.
Our Work Together
In our sessions, I offer a non-judgmental, attuned space where you can be fully heard - emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Together we will:
Explore what’s currently weighing on you
Understand how your nervous system is responding to stress
Identify where you are now and what you’re longing for
Gently unwind patterns that keep you stuck
Create a holistic, embodied path toward your desired outcome
You don’t have to carry everything alone. We move at a pace that respects your system, allowing real integration rather than quick fixes.
My Approach
My work is integrative and tailored to you. I draw from:
Nervous System–Informed & Person-Centered Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) (used gently and practically)
Breath-work & Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Somatic & Yoga-Informed Practices
This blend allows us to work both top-down (thoughts, beliefs) and bottom-up (body, breath, sensation), supporting lasting and embodied change.
Your Support Path
I invite all new clients into a one-month First Step—four weekly sessions where we establish safety, understand your nervous system patterns, and clarify what support will best serve you.
If, after this month, you feel called to continue, I offer a 3-month committed path.
Meeting weekly or byweekly gives your mind, body, and heart the consistency they need to soften, integrate, and truly shift. This rhythm supports deeper regulation, trust, and sustainable change.
Fees
All sessions are payable by e-Interac transfer or credit card.
Payment is due 1 hour prior to session
A 48-hour full-fee cancellation policy applies
Individual Clarity Session: $120
Sliding Scale (limited availability): $40–$80
